Dennis Robert Harrington

Dennis R. Harrington, 47, of Cumming, GA, passed away on April 8, 2025. Born in Livingston, NJ on May 20, 1977. He lived most of life in Toms River, NJ. His early days were spent like most kids playing sports, riding bikes, fishing and hanging with friends. Dennis excelled at anything mechanical, building and designing. After graduating High School Dennis began his career as an electrician, in the residential space then transitioned into commercial and industrial where he spent most of his career. His dedication to the electrical profession left a lasting mark on everyone he worked with. He possessed a remarkable talent for interpreting blueprints, innovating, and enhancing processes.

After relocating to Cumming, GA, eight years ago, Dennis built a life in a new community, where he found purpose in his work. Dennis most recently was employed by M.C. Dean as a General Foreman in Engineering & Construction - Electrical Systems. He brought expertise and leadership to this role, earning respect in his professional community. Although Dennis thrived in his professional life he enjoyed working on his truck and motorcycle or riding in the mountains.

Dennis is survived by his parents, Paul Harrington, 78, and Jean Harrington, 75; his two adult children, Dennis Jr., 22, and Devin, 20. As well his brother Steven, his wife Katherine and his nephew & nieces Andrew, Tessa & Mallory. A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a local trade scholarship fund in Dennis’s memory, honoring his passion for electrical work.
