Dennis Brent Hanson

Dennis B. Hanson, age 74, passed away on May 29, 2014 in Dahlonega, Georgia. He was born Sept 27, 1939 to Joseph B. and Letha Walker Hanson in Springville, Utah. He married Carrie Gaston on July 2, 1966 and was later divorced. Dennis was Co-captain of American Fork Cavemen football team in 1956, Marine fighter pilot in the A-4 aircraft and patriot of American ideals, values and way of life. He had a strong commitment to God and the purpose of life. Dennis realized his life s dream in his later years living in a cabin on a beautiful river with a fishing pole in hand. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Dennis is survived by his children, Jamie (Darren) Hray, Jeffrey, Julie (Erik) Puckett, 4 grandchildren and siblings, Connie (Walt) Bowen, Paul (Lois) Hanson, Kent (Bonna) Hanson, DeeAnn (Bob) Buchanan and Geri (Mike) Smith. Preceded in death by parents and sibling, JoeArd Hanson. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 7th, at 11 am at the Deer Creek Shores Presbyterian Church in Cumming, GA.
