Deborah Sue (Little) Ramey

Deborah Sue Ramey 71, of Cumming, Georgia passed away on Friday; September 3rd, 2021.

Deborah was well known for her passion for serving others. She put her heart into everything she did, especially providing for others. This was evident in her talents in the kitchen, as she had an over 15-year career in the cafeterias within the Forsyth County School System. Her love language was with food, and she would provide meals/desserts to anyone and everyone just because. She was the world's best caregiver whose love knew no boundaries. The love shared between Doug and Deborah, in their nearly 20-year marriage, inspired those that knew them to always put God first and to serve others. Being the oldest of 6 sisters, she adopted that loving motherly instinct early in life, as it was evident in the way she raised her 3 children. Her legacy will live on, as she taught her children faith, love, compassion, accountability, respectful morals, and values.

Deborah is preceded in death by her brother; Donnie Little, and her parents; George and Evelyn Little.

Deborah is survived by her husband; Emory Douglas Ramey.

Children; Cathy Cummings (Elvis); Malinda Burgess (Michael); and Travis Wareham (Stephanie).

Siblings; Vickie Fields (Philip), Jackie Barrett (Jerry), Jennifer Lyness (Rich), Sandra Hardy, and Georgia Hawkins.

Deborah also leaves behind seven grandchildren; Amber Shields, Myron Carnes, Austin Burgess, Karlie Burgess, Aubrey Burgess, Bryar Wareham, and Elliana Wareham.

Three great grandchildren also survive. Kylie Shields, Sage Shields, and Asher Shields.

Visitation will be on Sunday, September 5th, 2021 from 12:00pm-3:00pm at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will in the chapel of the funeral home at 3:00pm. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
