Debbie Everett

Debbie Lynn Everett, 64, of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 18th, 2024.

She was born on March 28th,1959, and raised in Smyrna, Georgia. Debbie was married to Keith Everett for over 42 years before his passing on November 16th, 2022.

Debbie spent many years working in flower nurseries and at a daylily farm. When she wasn’t working with flowers, she was tending to the flowers growing throughout her yard. Her love of music filled the house, and spent her youth going to concerts every chance she got. She was a caring mother and wife and spent many years taking care of her husband Keith, who was disabled.

She is survived by her son Joshua Everett, daughter-in-law Abbie Everett, her daughter Melissa Simpson, and son-in-law Ian Simpson. She is also survived by her brothers Steve Landers and Ken Landers.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles “Keith” Everett, mother Marie Landers, and father Cecil Landers.

The funeral service will be held at McDonald & Son Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia, on Wednesday, January 24th. Visitation will be at 11:00am and service will be 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made in her name to The Place, an organization that helped my mother, and family for many years. The Place is a nonprofit Social Service Organization that has passionately served residents of Forsyth County since 1975
