Ssuwanee, Georgia
David Spencer Hoff III, known affectionately as Trey, embarked on his heavenly journey on September 14, 2023. Born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 2, 2001, Trey's 22 years on earth were filled with adventure and ambition. Trey was a resident of Suwanee, Georgia, where he was not just known by his name, but by his larger than life presence, infectious zest for living and contagious grin and laugh.
Trey's love for the outdoors was evident in his choice of profession and hobbies. As the hard-working owner/operator of Cowboy's Tree Service, he thrived on being with nature and was passionate about his work. He loved the thrill and danger of climbing and was happiest when he was high up in a tree. Outside of work, Trey was an adventurer at heart. He enjoyed dirt bike riding, motorcross, fishing, and swimming at Trout Rock on the beloved horse farm where he started working when he was 15. His love for diesel trucks was well known among his friends. He was talented at football and lacrosse and made numerous friends over the years, playing both sports. Trey was a deeply loyal, generous and caring friend. He loved being around people and hanging out with friends around a bonfire was one of his favorite things do. His adventures were not limited to the outdoors; he was equally adventurous in life, always ready to explore new paths and opportunities. A devout member of God's House Baptist Church, Trey's faith was a guiding force in his life. He embodied the spirit of the verse from Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Family and friends were the cornerstone of Trey's life. He is survived by his loving mother, Jennifer Hoff; his father, David Hoff Jr.; his brother, Cole Hoff; his grandfather, David Hoff; and his grandmother, Patricia Loveland. He now joins in heaven his cherished grandmother, Patricia Hoff; his grandfather, Captain John Cole; and his step-grandfather, Lt. Colonel William Loveland.
Trey's adventurous spirit, ambitious mind, inspiring presence, and talented hands have left a deep impact on all who were blessed to know him. His memory will continue to inspire us to live fully, love deeply, and make each moment count. We invite you to visit the memorial page and share your memories of Trey. Your photos, stories, and messages will help us all remember the joy and inspiration that Trey brought into our lives.
A celebration of life service will be held at John's Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at 11:00am with a reception immediately following in the family life center.
