David Alan Haney

David A.Haney, born on September 15, 1949, went to his heavenly home on June 15, 2014 after a lengthy illness. He served in the United States Air Force. David was a loving and committed Christian, husband, dad, and friend. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, cooking, the beach, and spending time with his family. David was preceded in death by his father, Robert I. Haney. He is survived by his wife Tammy L. Haney; sons, A.J. and Jace Haney; mother, Betty Lou Haney of Atlanta; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Teresa Haney of Temple; sister, Diane Haney of Marietta; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Sunday June 22nd, at 2pm at Harmony Grove Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to United Community Bank in care of Alan and Jace Haney's college fund.
