David Stanfield Broome

David Stanfield Broome passed away on March 19, 2023. Born September 13, 1966 in Knoxville, TN. He is survived by his wife, Terri Lynn Broome; his bonus children Nate Do and June Dewey, his mother Jane Broome, his sister Lisa Broome; and a motley assortment of extended family born of blood, love and friendship.

David loved deeply and broadly. He had traveled the world and impacted countless people in his work and social worlds. The many people reaching out to remember him dwell on his kindness, his optimism, and his generosity. A champion for diversity and inclusion initiatives, he was a mentor to a multitude, both professionally and in life.

The family is hosting a viewing and visitation on Friday, March 24th 4pm - 7pm at McDonald & Sons Funeral Home in Cumming, GA followed by an Irish/Scottish style wake and life celebration at Branchwater - 5820 S Vickery St, Cumming GA 30040 where David will be celebrated with all the enthusiasm he carried in life. The stories will be legendary.
