Darryl Fitz

Darryl L. Fitz, 63, of Sugar Hill, Georgia, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024.

He was the son of the late Thomas Fitz and Brenda (Grim) Izzi.

Darryl was the loving husband of Nguyet (Moon) Nguyen.
Darryl will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He will also be remembered as a devout Christian, proud Army Veteran, member of the American Legion, and someone who made a profound impact on the lives of those he loved. He will be missed by many.

He is survived by a stepson Jordan (Thao) Nguyen. Granddaughters Hannah and Sophia Nguyen. Also surviving are stepfather Dan Izzi and stepmother Ginny Fitz. In addition Darryl is survived by 3 brothers, Brian (Denise) Fitz, Mark (Martina) Fitz and Michael (Shauna) Izzi. A stepsister Denise (Anthony) DiArcangelo and stepbrother Stephen (Debbie) Izzi. Preceded in death by stepsister Michelle E. Fitz.

A service for Darryl will be held at McDonald and Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 19th, at 3:00pm. Family will receive friends from 2:00 until the time of service. A reception will immediately follow the service.

Darryl will be laid to rest at Georgia National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 25, at 11:00am.
Anyone wishing to attend may meet at McDonald and Son Funeral Home at 9:00am in preparation to process to the cemetery leaving the funeral home promptly at 9:30am.
