Darryl Cole Young passed from this life, Monday, May 13, 2024, at the age of 59. Born in Atlanta, GA on September 14, 1964, to Cole (Buddy) and Judy Shuler Young, Darryl grew up in the then small town of Alpharetta, GA, graduated from Milton High School in 1983 and was a longtime member of Clear Springs Baptist Church. Darryl was preceded in death by his grand-parents Frank & Gretha Maroney Shuler and Cecil & Janie Pearl Roper Young as well as several special cousins. In addition to his parents, Darryl leaves behind, to cherish his memories, Aunt and Uncle Anne and Everett Dodd, numerous cousins who were like surrogate siblings, and many valued friends. Known for his remarkable memory, sense of humor, joy of family travel and love of automobile racing, he left a favorable impression on those he met. One of the most reliable and trustworthy individuals you could know, Darryl was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

A visitation will be held to honor and celebrate his life on Friday May 17th from 4:00PM-8:00PM, at McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Clear Springs Baptist Church, 11575 Jones Bridge Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30022.
