Danny Michael Gailey

Mr. Danny Michael "Mike" Gailey, age 64 of Cleveland. Mr. Gailey passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Saturday,. March 24, 2012 from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Dave Fortner officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens with military honors being provided by the White County Color Guard

Mike was born on June 28, 1947 in Hall County to the late Britton Lockhart Gailey and Vivian Haynes Gailey.He was a 1965 graduate of North Hall High School and served with honor in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Glidden Paint with twenty five years service.

A kind and gentle man, Mike found pleasure in helping others and seeing is friends and family succeed in life, in addition he will always be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. Mike is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Harry Gailey. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Patricia Gailey, Cleveland; daughter and son in law, Shelly and Lee Matthews, Cleveland; grandsons, Zachary Matthews, and Alex Matthews and girlfriend, Kielea Loggins; sister and brother in law, Jane and J.K. Crumley, Clermont as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
