Daniel A. Snow

Daniel A Snow, 72, of Ocala FL passed away Saturday, October 13 2012 at the Northeast Atlanta Health and Rehabilitation Center in Atlanta, GA. Dan was preceded in death by his wife Marlene Ross Snow. He is survived by his three children, David Snow of Arlington Heights IL, Michael Snow (Maribel) of Washington DC and Suzie Snow Burns (Scott) of Cumming, GA; as well as two granddaughters, Samantha Snow and Taylor Burns; and four step children, Donald Ross of Frankfort IL, Kathee Ross Guiffre of Oldsmar, FL, Lisa Ross of Lake Geneva, WI and Jon Ross of Madison, WI. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Dan dedicated his life to the field of education, where he served as a teacher in Michigan and Illinois, Assistant Superintendent of the Cook County (IL) school system and finally as Headmaster of Northwestern Military and Naval Academy in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin from where he retired in 1992. In keeping with Dan's wishes, there will be no formal memorial service, and he has asked that anyone wishing to honor his memory should do so by making a donation to the educational institution of their choice.
