Dan Palmer

Dan Palmer of Dawsonville died Friday, February 11th, 2011 at his residence. Dan Palmer was born in Stoneham, Massachusetts to Nina Hammond and Dan Palmer. He worked at Ernie Elliot Inc. for 26 years. He attended North Georgia Church, and he was actively involved in the Tres Dias community. He enjoyed kayaking, taking his dog to nursing homes to minister to others, and living life to the fullest which, to him, meant serving others through the grace of God. There are many titles we could give Dan, but he was firstly a loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife Stephanie Palmer, his son Kevin Palmer, his daughter Sonja Palmer, his mother Nina Hammond, his father Dan Palmer, his sister Sonja Barrera, his brother Alan Palmer, and his sister Suzanne Suzuki. His memorial will be from 4 7 on Monday February 14, 2011 at the Dahlonega Funeral Home, and the service will start at 7. There will be a graveside service the following morning at Antioch cemetery at 10 AM.
