Mr. Dan Wilson Ball, 81

Mr. Dan Wilson Ball, age 81, Cumming, GA passed away on Monday April 19, 2021. Dan was born November 19, 1939 in Athens, TN, the son of the late Wilson Ernest Ball and Grace Lois (Brown) Ball. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Patricia (Ball) Roberts. Dan was a devoted husband, to Annette, for 60 years, as well as a loving father and grandfather.

He made his home in Milledgeville, GA for over 50 years before moving to Cumming, GA in 2006. He was a member of First Christian Church in Milledgeville and is survived by his wife, Annette (Waller) Ball, children Dan Wright (Marilyn), Angela Penland (Danny), Greg Ball (Dionne). He had 7 grandchildren, Ivy Page (Stephen), Jessie Wright (April), Hollie Smith (Josh), Katie Grimes (Chase), Annie Butler (James), Alex Ball and Alaina Ball. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Dan was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved wood working and was an excellent tooth puller for all the children.

A private service for the family will be held at a later date.
