Cora Mae Griffeth

–

Cumming, Georgia

Cora Mae (Hall) (Luther) Griffeth of Cumming, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, January 27th, 2021.

Cora celebrated life on earth for over 93 years and shared an immeasurable love for Jesus and her family. Through the years, Cora's memory remained sharp, and she found great joy in sharing recollections of her childhood and past life. Cora was a homemaker with an old soul, but her spirit was nothing short of youthful. She had a knack for sewing and quilting and remained a dedicated fan to Braves baseball. Whether she was taking a brisk walk to the dinner table or riding to a local drive-thru, Cora would be sure to don a pair of earrings and her light pink lipstick. God and family remained the center of Cora's life. Her earthly departure leaves behind fond stories to pass on to the next generations so that they, too, may share and never forget the light she was to all knew her.

"For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

She is survived by her stepson Gene Hall (Ruby), grandchildren Stefanie King Ward and Stan King (Karrie), Debra Callier, Pam Thomas, Denise Campbell, Brenda Bowen, Phillip Hall, and Tanzel Hall from her first husband Ernest Hall. By her stepdaughter Debbie Robertson (Lee), stepson Mike Luther (Sheila), grandchildren Kathy Young, Cindy Sauls, Michael Tucker, Tabby Savage, and Chassey Valentine from her second husband Ralph Luther. She also is survived by her step children Joan Langford (Wendell) and Diane Howard (Jim) from her husband Cecil Griffeth. She leaves behind many great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. And many, many friends who loved her.
