Connie Lynn Brock, 55, of Cumming, GA died on August 17, 2012 at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Born in Atlanta, GA, she is predeceased by her husband, Gerald Thaxton. Connie is survived by her daughters, Rene (Sammy) Shirley of Gillette, WY, Stephanie (Richard Dunford) Thaxton of Cumming, GA; sons, Michael (Krista) Thaxton of Cumming, GA and Christopher (Angela) Thaxton of Breese, IL; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Resthaven Cemetery in Alpharetta, GA. The Rev. Bobby Dumford will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 8:00 pm on Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the funeral home.
