Christopher King

Christopher Allan King, known to his loved ones as Chris, passed away peacefully on July 27th, 2024 at the age of 65. He was born on October 29th, 1958 in Atlanta, GA, to the late Thomas Dude King and Jeannie King. Chris will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 47 years, Jane King, his son Tommy King, his daughter Deia & Michael King-Harrell, and cherished grandkids Desi & Leon.

Chris was a kind and thoughtful man who had an incredible work ethic that took him far. He dove into his hobbies and was always willing to learn new things. He had a passion for racing, his motorcycles, western movies, and watching his grandchildren grow up. Chris was a proud father to his children and always showed support from softball games, to boy scouts to music lessons.

Chris and his wife Jane had been together since they were teenagers. No matter where life took them you would never find them apart and were always by each other's sides. They both had a love for their friends and throwing backyard parties was their way of showing it. With loud music, motorcycles, and southern food, it was always a good time.

Chris found strength with Faith during his time in pain. His belief in God was an important aspect of his life, providing him with guidance and comfort in his life's journey. The family takes comfort in knowing that Chris is no longer in pain and is now resting in peace with his family in heaven.
