Christopher Christy

Christopher Lamar Christy, of Dahlonega, Georgia, was born on March 11, 1971, in Gainesville, Georgia. Christopher, a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 3, 2023. He was known for his kind nature and love for his family, and his life was a living example of the quote, "Family is not an important thing, it's everything."

Christopher spent his career in the construction industry, where he specialized in grading. His work ethic and dedication to his craft were admired by all who knew him. Despite his achievements in his professional life, Christopher's true joy came from his family. He was a loving husband to his wife, Melissa Christy, and a devoted father to his children; Amber Christy, Brandon Roberts, Ashley Rice, Stephanie Ray, Megan Bertani, and Jessica Ray. Christopher was also a doting grandfather to Emma Rice, Addyson Rice, Lucas Rice, Noah Ray, Summer Ray, and Joedus Hunter Christy, and his loving grandmother, Hettie Christy, who held a special place in his heart.

Christopher leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. His family and friends will remember him as a man who put his family above all else.
