Beloved mother, Christine Ann Tina McCabe, 49, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Northside Hospital Forsyth after a brief, critical illness from complications following minor surgery. Tina was born on Saturday, January 30, 1965 in Columbus, OH to John William and Frances Elizabeth (Bill and Fran) McCabe and was the oldest of three daughters. Following her graduation in 1983 from Linden McKinley High School in Columbus, OH, Tina attended Ohio State before her passion for horses led her to study for an equestrian career. She graduated from the elite Meredith Manor International Equestrian College in the foothills of Waverly, WV, just across the Ohio River from Marietta, OH. In 1992, Tina left Ohio and moved to Dawsonville, GA where she enjoyed a successful career training horses in the North Georgia area. Everyone who knew her knew she was a very hard worker. She was a kind, generous, loving mother, daughter, sister and true friend. She will always be remembered for her charming, outgoing personality. Tina always had something to say and she could always put a smile on your face. She loved being a mother and she always strived to give her kids the best. She never failed to help anyone who was in need and she would be the one who would go the extra mile for you. Tina was very passionate about work and succeeded in everything she put her mind to. She was very ambitious in life and fought to the end, even against the most unexpected battle of a sudden illness. She will especially be remembered for her quick wit, her spirit of adventure and her unending tenaciousness.
