Chesley Lee Fowler

Chesley Lee Fowler, 72, of Cumming, GA died on November 5, 2010 at Embracing Hospice House. Born in Forsyth County, he was the son of the late Joseph and Nanie Chesley. His son, Joseph Chesley Fowler; and sister, Etrula Fowler also predeceased him. He was the pastor of the Free Will Pentecostal Church of God in Buford, GA for 13 years until he was physically unable to continue. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Mr. Fowler is survived by is wife, Tina Fowler of Cumming, GA; sons, Steve (Teresa) Fowler of Marble Hill, GA, Allan (Debbie) Burnette of Gainesville, GA, Michael (Vivian) Burnette of Auburn, GA, John (Mary) Fowler of Cumming, GA; daughters, Beverly (Wayne) Silvia of Social Circle, GA, Stacey (Bobby) Riley of Cumming, GA and Cheryl (Brandon) Dowdy of Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren, Daniel and Jonathan Herring, Lily Kate Fowler, Alexis Faith Dowdy, Selena Burnette; several great-grandchildren; aunt, Ethel Grizzle; brothers, Paul Fowler and Thomas Fowler; sisters, Betty Lou Cox and Matilda (Perry Hester); and a large extended family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in the chapel of McDonald and Son. Interment will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 8 from 1:00 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
