Charles Forrest Patterson, Jr.

Charles Forrest Patterson, Jr., 78, of Cumming, GA passed away on Sunday September 16, 2012, after a long battle with cancer. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he is the son of the late Charles and Martha Patterson. Charles retired from the banking industry after 32 years with SunTrust, he was a member of the Atlanta Consumer Credit Association, and American Bankers Association. He was a past president of the Consumer Bankers Association in Washington, DC, and the Georgia Society to Prevent Blindness. He is survived by his wife, Adrienne Sharpe Patterson of Cumming, GA; son, Charles Forrest Patterson, III; daughter, Catherine Anne Donahoo; son, James Christopher Patterson; son, Robert Orr Patterson; 11 grandchildren, and1 great grandchild. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 29, 2012 in the McDonald & Son Funeral Home Chapel with reception immediately following. Inurnment will be held at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery in Sandy Springs, GA. Donations may be made to The Humane Society of Forsyth County or The Dawson County Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
