Charles Dees

Charles Ray Dees passed away in Alpharetta, Georgia, on February 20, 2025, at the age of 91, surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anna Mae and Luther Dees, and his siblings, Donald Dees, Lois Youngblood, and Tom Dees. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ellenburg Dees, his daughter, Susan, and son-in-law, Arne Bergren (Minnesota), along with a large extended family. Charles worked for Cities Services Research, IBM and Amoco Production Company before forming Computing and Information Sciences Corporation and DAC in Tulsa.

After retiring, he and his wife Rebecca spent time traveling and enjoying their home in Colorado, where they were very involved in the community. After moving to Georgia, Charles continued to live his life according to his core principles of honesty, integrity and love.

Memorial services are planned for March 14th at 3:00 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 500 S.W. 104th St., Oklahoma City.
