Chad Daniel Hughes, 45, went to be with the Lord, September 19, 2017.
Chad was born in Piqua, Ohio on April 21, 1972. He was an unsurpassed leader, a graduate of Kansas State University and served in the United States Army. Chad lived a life of service to his family, friends, community, and country.
Chad had many gifts, especially one of motivation. He demanded 100% of everyone, 100% of the time... including himself. He is a man who will be remembered for his high integrity, great character, a positive mind and spirit that impacted everyone he was in contact with.
Chad is survived by his wife, the love of his life and best friend Jennifer Hughes. He is also survived by his 5 children that he adored and was devoted to, his amazing daughter Alyssa Hughes and his devoted sons, Garrett Hughes, Noah Schreiber, Benjamin Schreiber and Joshua Schreiber. He is also survived by his parents, Linda and Major William Hughes( ret), his brothers Billy and Heidi Hughes, Brad and Cindy Hughes and sister Amanda and Matt LeCorgne, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and countless friends who will all feel this tremendous loss.
May his incredible legacy of being able to inspire those around him to believe in themselves and his example of continuing to love and serve those around us carry on through each of us.
A celebration of Chad's life will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at McDonald and Son Funeral Home.
Visitation begins at 4:00 p.m., followed by services at 5:00 p.m.
