Catharine Harrison

Catharine Louise Pierce Harrison, 87, passed away in the sweet loving home at Royal Living in Dawsonville, Ga. to be with our Lord Thursday, July 27,2017. Mrs. Harrison had lived most of her life in Duluth, Dunwoody, and Atlanta. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Dunwoody Baptist Church for years.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas J.and Louise Pierce of Roberta, Ga. She was preceded in death by her brother Tommy Pierce of Roberta, Ga. and her close friend and cousin Georgiann Rudder of Murrieta, CA.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-laws: Allen and Lise Sewell of Caswell Beach, N.C. and Bill and Edie Papineau of Gainesville, Ga. She was a devoted loving Grandma to four grandchildren: Robert Papineau, Harrison Papineau, Emily Sewell, and Elizabeth Sewell. Catharine leaves behind her dear best friends of over 60 years, Marion Hanners, Curtis and Louise Waites, and Bob and Joyce West. She precedes her beloved cousins Lael Tribble, Bill and Genie Liles, Arthur and Cathy Vaughn, Charlie Tribble, and Hugh and Maryann Howell.

Because of her love for children and reading, please give a child in need a book and a hug in her sweet memory. Choose a school of your choice, a neighbors child, or a Literacy charity. Catharine will be laid to rest in her beloved hometown of Roberta, Ga. Her graveside funeral will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 1:00 at the Roberta Cemetery in Roberta, Ga.
