Carroll James "Jim" Collins Jr.

Carroll James Collins Jr., affectionately known as Jim, passed away December 9, 2022, at the age of 82. Jim was born on July 29, 1940, to the late Carroll James Collins Sr., and Jessie Collins, in Walterboro, South Carolina. Jim was the co-owner and president of Summit Underground Company in Gainesville, GA.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Judy Collins; his children and their spouses: Joe and Jennifer Collins of Birmingham, AL, Craig Gaskins of Marietta, GA, Dan Collins of Edison, GA, Carole Collins of Silva, NC, and Jenny and Jason Skaggs of Flowery Branch, GA. Jim is also survived by his sister and her husband, Dottie and Tom Wood of Monroe, GA. He is also survived by 10 loving grandchildren.
