Carole Lucas

Carole L. Lucas, age 81, of Cumming, GA went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

She was preceded in death by both her loving husband of 51 years, Paul Lucas (age 72) in 2016 and her son, Steve Lucas (age 59) in March 2025.

She is survived by her daughter Kim Lucas; daughter-in-law Debbie; grandchildren, Lauren and Robyn Lucas: sister, Mary Pat (Mal) Willette; niece, Beth (Bryan) Yaeger as well as nephews Mark Willette and Jay (Kirsten) Lucas.

Carole was a long-time member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA and a current member of Cumming First United Methodist Church. She was a member of the church choir, bible study leader, avid reader and skilled bridge player. She is best remembered for her patience, her beautiful smile, her strong faith in God and her genuine sense of humor during the good as well as the challenging times.

Visitation is scheduled at McDonald and Son Funeral home in Cumming, GA on Monday, November 24, 2025 from 5PM to 8PM.

A Celebration of Life service will be held the following day at McDonald and Son Funeral home in Cumming, GA on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 1:00PM with Rev. Kathie Stasko officiating.

Guests are invited to stay for a Reception after the service in the hall located at the rear of McDonald and Son funeral home while the family travels a few minutes away for a brief private interment. The family will soon rejoin their guests at the reception hall for fellowship.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to your local church or a donation to your own favorite charity is suggested.
