Carol Ann Montesano

Carol Ann Montesano, 72, of Cumming, GA, passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at Northside Hospital Atlanta. She moved to Cumming 17 years ago from Levittown, NY. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the American Legion and a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Mary Purrmann, sisters, Kathryn Degnan and Madlyn Zint. She is survived by her husband of 53 yrs., Donald J. Montesano of Cumming, GA; children, Maryanne Montesano of Cumming, GA, Elizabeth and Peter Tully of Locust Grove, GA, Donna and Gary Maziarz of West Babylon, NY; sister, Gloria McCarren of Lynbrook, NY; grandson, Timothy Plante of Locust Grove, GA; and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Brendan Catholic Church, Cumming, GA. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 from 2:00 4:00 and 7:00 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
