Bruno G. Canario

Bruno G. Canario, 90, of Cumming, GA died on January 27, 2015. Born in New York City, he was the son of the late Antonio and Elvira Canario. Bruno served in the US Army during World War II in India and Burma. He received a degree in engineering from New York University and retired from the New York City Board of Education where he was Supervisor of Electrical Engineering. He loved to golf and moved to Florida after retirement so he could golf year round. He recently moved to Georgia to be closer to family. He is survived by his wife, Takao Canario of Cumming, GA; stepdaughter, Cathy (Ron) Kibbe of Suwanee, GA; granddaughter, Alexis Kibbe of Suwanee; cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Memory s Garden in Albany, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bruno s memory to a charity of your choice.
