On Thursday, January 4th, 2024, the world lost a remarkable soul, Brandon Mark Dacanay. Born in Tucson, AZ, on July 21st, 1992, Brandon lived a life full of love, resilience, and determination. His infectious laughter, generous spirit, and radiant smile will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to have known him. In Brandon's passing, we are reminded of the joy and vitality he brought to our lives, and thus, we celebrate the beginning of his enduring legacy.

He was a loving husband to his wife, Rebecca, and together, they created a home filled with warmth and love in Dawsonville, Georgia. A beautiful testament to their bond, their home was not just a dwelling, but a beacon of their shared dreams and aspirations. As Helen Keller eloquently stated, "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched - they must be felt with the heart." Brandon's love for his wife and family was one such beautiful emotion that will continue to be felt even in his absence.

Brandon leaves behind a loving family that includes his wife, Rebecca Dacanay, his mother, Stacie Smith, his father-in-law, Vernon Hamilton, his brothers, Kyle and Dustin, and sister-in-laws Rachel Hamilton and Sara Hamilton. He joins his father, Mark Dacanay, in the realm beyond life. His loss will be felt deeply by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
