Sweet Beautiful Bonnie Jill:

Brought into this world by God, Bonnie, from a child, was called to be a nurturer. Always of an inborn giving nature, from birth, she shined with a glow of a giving love and joy. As she grew, the unheard voice of children and animals where always her cause for being. Showering her compassion and healing touch on all. Bonnie chose to dedicate her higher learning to early childhood development, caring for and teaching babies to toddlers for church and private day care learning centers. Working as an assistant Director of the Northside Hospital staff daycare center, Bonnie shared with all the caregivers her devotion of love. Son Justin was born at Northside, and Chaplin Dan Keels, married Jim and Bonnie on March 24, 1984. Always with a soft spot for the stray or orphaned animals, our house was a constant harbor of healing for dogs, ducks, and all that would fly, swim, or walk.

A family coming from simple humble southern roots, Bonnie Jill's hobbies grew from a mill town and farming heritage in Toccoa Georgia and Duncan South Carolina. Here she applied three generations of sowing and seamstress knowledge in to beautiful works and hand crafted dress ware. As "sharp as a whip", Bonnie was born with a "horse sense" and wit to rival the sharpest of minds. The most loyal of friends, Bonnie dedicated her compassion and talents to a close circle of friends and her family. As an accomplished artist with an eye for color and proportion, BJ hand crafted silver jewelry, and brought balance and honest beauty to all of our home. As a teen, art appeared through the lens of a 35mm camera as BJ was always was always seeking beauty in a captured moment of nature or of family and friends. The fastest reader one could know, Bonnie "devoured" books and knowledge and kept it in a steel trap, always ready with a quip or quote. Funny "dry" humor and down to Earth quotes flowed freely. The most amazing of southern cooks, baker, and hostess, her love flows from every dish prepared with love from scratch. History, romance, and heritage brought Bonnies, hobbies to family tree research where quest for discovery and lineage led to amazing family discoveries and the Fricks-Farmer family Reunion historian.

God, and family are the beams of light shining from Bonnies' soul.

Bonnies Jill, Pookie woonee, Boo-Boo, Shnookee, smooch and smack, would wish for all family and friends to tell each other every day, "I love you". Do a kind thing. See Gods' work in all of nature and creation. Live in the moment. Sing song, laugh, and stay simple and true.

So let us, in Bonnies' spirit of life on Earth, plant a seed or a "Bonnie tree", donate a dollar or time to an animal shelter nearby, give of yourself to the a children's' hospital or cause.

Bonnie Jill, "I love You". "I heard what you said, 'I love you more'" forever and always.

Bonnie Jill:

Spring Heart,

Buds of brown all fat and round,

Wait while warmth unlocks the ground.

Melting white now water flows,

Finds the roots-which now do grow.

Sweet sap enriched by winters' snow,

Draws up from down-deep below.

Within veins the warm sun rushes,

Freeing life from Icey clutches.

Up to the tips where brown buds thirst,

To drink new earth- now pink blooms burst.

And bees and birds and man alike,

Breathe spring again-a time of life.
