Bettye Hendrix

Bettye Wilmoth Hendrix, 80, of Cumming, GA passed away on May 25, 2014. Born in Atlanta, GA she is preceded in death by her husband, James Briston Hendrix; parents, Horace Wilmoth and Josephine Sanders Compton; brother, William Wilmoth; sisters, Peggy Vaughn, Mary Smith, Pauline Manus, Joyce Williamson, and Jeanette Lawson. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Hendrix of Portland, OR; daughter, Elizabeth Hendrix Bowen of Cumming, GA; sister, Marie Seay of Dunwoody, GA; brother, Jimmy Wilmoth of Maysville, GA; grandchildren, Olivia, Emily, Luke; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the McDonald & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Cumming. The family will receive friends from 12:00 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
