Ms. Betty Thompson was born on April 22, 1956, to the late Charlie and Winona McCurry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Linda Frady and two brothers James and Lane Sr. McCurry.

Betty was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She adored her children and grandchildren. She always told her children and grandchildren, that she loved them.

Betty Nona Thompson is survived by her son , Jeffery Thompson and daughter - in- law Melissa Joann Thompson of Knoxville,TN and her daughter Melissa Anne Thompson of Dahlonega, GA. Grandson Matthew Cain and granddaughter Elizabeth Thompson. Brothers Billy McCurry, Roger McCurry, Danny McCurry, and Benny McCurry. Sisters JoAnn Chadwick, Sarah Frady and Cynthia Simmons.

Ms. Betty Thompson was cremated and a private burial of her cremated ashes will be at a later date.
