Betty Quinn

Betty Carol Quinn, of Lula, Georgia, passed away on October 26, 2024, at the age of 76.

Betty was born on October 25, 1948, to the late Hubert and Wynell Standridge.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Elrod; her son Ricky Allen; brothers Hendon Standridge and Ray Standridge; and sisters Sue Buice and Susie English.

Betty is survived by her daughter Pamela (spouse Jeff) Martin; brother Frank Standridge; sisters Louise Brock and Elizabeth Reeves; grandchildren, Bobby (spouse Jessica) Quinn, Kassie (spouse Jeff) Brown and Avery (Heather) Martin; and great grandchildren, Charleigh Brown, Willow Brown, Brigham Brown, Gunner Quinn, Elliot Quinn, and Colton Martin.

Betty's life touched so many people and she will be greatly missed. She was raised picking cotton, growing gardens to can food, making turtle stew, having fish fries, hunting & just surrounded herself with family & friends. She did anything she could (even to help strangers) and loved big!

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, from 10:00AM-1:00PM at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 1:00PM in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home, with Pastor Swayne Cochran officiating. The graveside will be held after the service at Silver Shoals Church in Lula, Georgia.
