Betty Jean (Cantrell) Hampson Obituary (1937

Betty Jean Hampson, 84, of Cumming, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 28, 2022. Betty loved her family. She especially loved her grandkids and was affectionately know as "BB" or "Bean Bean." Betty loved the Lord; her favorite verse was "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13. She liked to cook for family, and when her kids were home there were biscuits and gravy and quite possibly a cake. In addition to her parents, her son, Josh Manus, and her husband Buddy, precede Betty in death. Those left to cherish her memory is her brother, Bryant Cantrell, her sons Tim Zuber (Pam), Rusty Manus (Lynn), Ernest Manus, and daughter in law, Angel Manus. She will be lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren: Lauren Zuber, Brianna Zuber, Kayla Manus, Ian Manus, Leah Page Manus, Jackson Manus, Bradley Manus, Kerri Aune and Candice Wheeler, along with five great grandchildren: Willow Hatcher, Rubie Stewart, Lilah Payne, Carter Aune and Cooper Aune. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 from 1:00pm-3:00pm at McDonald and Son Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home at 3:00pm on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 following the visitation. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Betty's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the love and support received during this time.
