Bettie Jane Kendall Perko

Bettie Jane Kendall Perko, 87, of Stone Mountain, GA passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Bettie was born in Ashland, OH, her family s home town. After graduating from Ashland High School, Bettie worked as a Telephone Operator for Star Telephone, where she met her husband, Leonard Perko, and moved South settling in Stone Mountain, GA. Bettie was a charter member of Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, and worked for many years at Stone Mountain High School in food services. Bettie was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Perko; son, Jack Perko; parents, Willard Jack and Alice Kendall and brother, Ralph Kendall. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Lu Ann and Mike Garrison of Cumming, GA; grandchildren who meant the world to her, Jack and Kendall Garrison of Cumming, GA; best friend, Shirley Moon of Ashland, OH and dearest friend & neighbor, Doreen Clark and so many other friends and caregivers. The family would like to thank Dr. Daulton Todd, Northside Forsyth ER & Tara Plantation Senior Community residents, staff & caregivers for the wonderful loving care they provided.
