Becky Dean Flanagan

Becky was born on February 26, 1959, in Scottsboro, Alabama and lived in Cumming, Georgia for the last 13 years. After a long battle with gastroparesis and pancreatic cancer, she went to be with her Heavenly Father on May 21, 2022. Becky lived a life that touched numerous people in positive ways. The most important things in her life were her devotion to God, husband, children, and grandchildren. She had an uncanny ability to light up any room that she entered. Her spiritual gifts of giving and mercy made her compassionate for those less fortunate, and she never hesitated to help anyone who asked. She loved to travel, play golf, and she enjoyed college football - especially Alabama.

Becky is predeceased by her mother (Caroline Dean), father (Joel Dean, Sr.) and her brother (Joel Dean, Jr.) She is survived by her husband (Mitch Flanagan), son Jeremy Tubbs (Julie), daughter Melissa Lodde (Christian), grandchildren (Jackson Dean Lodde, Connor Alexander Lodde, Ella Kate Tubbs), Uncle Wally Bowman (Marilyn) and numerous cousins.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 6:00-9:00 pm and also on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 9:30-11:00 am.

The Celebration of Life Service will take place at 11:00am at McDonald and Son, with interment following at Sawnee View Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to First Redeemer Church (www.firstredeemer.org) and/or www.purplepansies.org/donate in honor of pancreatic cancer.
