Barbara (Jackie) Huff

Barbara Mayne Huff, better known as Jackie, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024.  She was ninety years old.  Jackie was born in Atlanta, Georgia on April 10, 1934.  She is preceded in death by her mother Jewel and her husband Raymond.   She attended O'Keefe High School and Georgia State University.  Raymond and Jackie were married for sixty-five years and had two daughters, Donna (Bruce) Longmore and Shelly (David) Morris.  Jackie and Ray enjoyed tennis for many years, Jackie as an exceptional player ranked in the state of Georgia. Her tennis partner, Charlotte Czekala, was a steadfast friend throughout her life.  Raymond and Jackie enjoyed trips to Hilton Head Island often. Ginger, their Pomeranian, was a cherished companion.  Jackie's beautiful, family filled life included seven grandchildren: Bo, Drew, Dana, Jack, Ashley, Keith and Mitchell, as well as eight great-grandchildren: Wade, Wyatt, Lawton, Ruby, Bowen, Nova, Veda and Bodhi.  Her Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McDonald and Sons Funeral Home, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, GA  30040, with a reception following in the Community room.
