Audrey Gomes

Audrey Ann Gomes, February 2nd, 1960, passed peacefully on May 12th, 2025, at 65. Over the past several years her health has been gradually getting worse. Her final hours were filled with love, happiness, laughter and sadness. Surrounded by her family she went to be with Jesus so she could be healed for eternity.

She lived in Cumming, GA with her daughter, son-in-law and grandson. There was nothing that gave her greater pleasure than watching her grandson grow up.

She is preceded in death by her parents "Buck" Henry Lackey and Emily "Jeanette" Smith. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Ben Norsworthy, treasured grandson, Elijah Norsworthy, sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Ken Jones and brother, Richard Lackey. She also leaves behind a nephew, T.J. Baldwin, niece Elana Gayton and future nephew-in-law Ryan Brock, as well as her great nieces and nephews, Whitney Jones, Michael Baldwin (Madi Ellison), Donaven Gayton and Alivia Gayton.

We will celebrate her life Sat. May 17th, 2025. Her favorite color is pink, and we will wear pink in her honor. There will be a viewing, at McDonald & Son, from 12:30 - 2:30 with a chapel service to follow at 2:30. Family and friends are invited back to the home of Ben & Amy Norsworthy after the service.
