Audrey Medeiros Crowley
April 16, 1946 – March 27, 2026

Audrey Medeiros Crowley, age 79, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026. Born on April 16,1946, in Taunton, Massachusetts, Audrey was the beloved daughter of Eliza and Angelo Medeiros and was raised in a loving Portuguese family that remained close throughout her life.

Audrey graduated from Taunton High School in 1964 and went on to attend Merrimack College. She carried with her a strong work ethic, warmth, and vibrant personality that touched everyone who knew her.

Audrey built a long and successful career as a travel agent, beginning with American Express Travel and later continuing with Avoya Travel. She was known as an expert in her field and took great pride in helping her clients plan unforgettable journeys. Through her many years in the travel industry, she developed lasting friendships with coworkers and loyal clients who cherished her enthusiasm, humor, and dedication. Audrey herself loved traveling the world and was fortunate to visit many beautiful countries, creating treasured memories with friends and colleagues who often fondly recall the laughter and adventures they shared with her.

For the past 29 years, Audrey made her home in Dahlonega, Georgia with her husband, Bill Worsham. Together they built a beautiful four-acre mountain home where they shared many happy years and raised several beloved dogs over time—Katrina, Rambo, Lady, Francie, and Madison—who were all special members of their family.

Family was the center of Audrey’s life. Though her loved ones lived in another state, she made it a priority to attend important family gatherings and Christmas celebrations throughout the years. Audrey had many special memories with her daughter, Renee, who shared an incredibly close bond with her mother. Together they celebrated life’s moments—Easter dinners, Mother’s Days, Thanksgiving, Christmas and their Birthdays — creating traditions and memories that will always be treasured.

A woman of strong Catholic faith and community spirit, Audrey was a long-time member of St. Luke’s Church in Dahlonega. She was also active in the Dahlonega Women’s Club, the Women’s Guild, and the Women’s Buckeye Book Club, where she enjoyed friendship and fellowship with many wonderful women.

Audrey was known for her spunky spirit, warm heart, and love of life. She was also a die-hard fan of the New England Patriots, and her favorite player was Tom Brady. Her enthusiasm and personality made her unforgettable to everyone who knew her.

Although Audrey was taken from us too soon, her family finds comfort in knowing her pain is gone and that she is now at peace in heaven with those who have gone before her.

Her daughter Renee shares: “I miss my mother more than I could ever imagine. There is such a void in my heart. I miss you beyond words, Mom. Everyone misses you.”

Audrey is survived by her loving daughter, Renee Crowley Hardin of Atlanta, GA, her sister, Delia Hay; her brother, Angelo(Lois) Medeiros; her nieces Kathy (Russ) Reed, Debbie Smith, and Sue Medeiros; and nephew Michael Medeiros and preceded by her parents Eliza and Angelo Medeiros of Massachusetts. She also remembered her first husband of ten years, preceded in death Bill Crowley, March 2025 and her current husband of 29 years, William Worsham, preceded in death December 2022.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Church (91 North Park St., Dahlonega, Georgia 30533)

Audrey will be forever loved and remembered by all whose lives she touched.
