Anthony "Tony" Maddox

Anthony "Tony" Maddox age 51, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed away peacefully Saturday, August 10, 2019 surrounded by family.

Mr. Maddox retired as a Lieutenant with the Dekalb County Sheriffs Office after 27 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his father Idus Andrew Maddox and sister Joyce Darlene Glass.

Tony is survived by his wife of 29 years Stephanie Maddox; mother Geraldine Maddox, of Smyrna, GA; daughter Alison Morgan Maddox, of Dahlonega, GA; sister and brother-in-law Rhonda and Paul Beatty, of Acworth, GA; brother Stan Maddox, of Cherry Log, Georgia; brother-in-law Ray Glass, of Dallas, GA. Extended family and friends also survive.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 10am-11am at McDonald and Son Funeral Home.

A celebration of Tony's life will be held in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home at 11:00am following the visitation.

The family asks that you do not send flowers.
