Annie Mae Cook

Annie Mae Cook, 88, of Cumming, GA passed away on November 19, 2010 at her home in Alpharetta, GA. Born in Blairsville, GA, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Winfred Cook in 2007; brothers, Claude, Dewey, and Floyd Poteete; and sister, Betty Hamrick. Mrs. Cook loved people and her family. She was a member of the Dacula church of God. She is survived by her son, John Tom Cook of Auburn, GA; daughter, Mary Ann Robertson of Alpharetta, GA; daughter, Sallie Ruth (J.C.) Newton of Marble, N.C.; daughter, Brenda Sue (Tim) Gaines of Jasper, GA; son Marty (Darlene) Cook of Cumming, GA; son, Gary Jerry (Vicki) Cook of Alpharetta, GA; sister, Ruby Kendrix of Alpharetta, GA; sister, Judy Metcalf of Alpharetta, GA; 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 22, 2010 at McDonald & Son Funeral Home in Cumming, GA. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sun. from 1:00 8:00 pm, and on Mon. from 11:00 2:00 pm. Revs. Jerry Hewatt, Larry Cook, Johnny Purcell, and Snooks Samples will officiate.
