Ann M. McAllister, 84, of Cumming, Georgia (formerly of Downingtown, Pennsylvania) passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. She was born on March 10, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Ann was a respected figure in the travel and hospitality industry for more than three decades, dedicating her career to promoting exceptional vacation experiences. Ann was blessed with many friends and found great joy in socializing with those she loved. Thoughtful and generous, she never missed a special occasion and took care in choosing and beautifully wrapping gifts for others. Ann cherished her friends and family.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James (Jim) H. McAllister, Jr. They shared 46 years of marriage, and she missed him deeply after his passing.
Ann is survived by her brother, Bernard “Buddy” F. Simmers, Jr.; her niece, Kim Frost-Pineda; her grandniece, Katie Cook Gruzdas (Dalton); her first cousin, Josie Dougherty; Josie’s three children, Jill Dennis (Ryan), James “Buddy” Dougherty (Melissa), and Erin Schuler (Mark); and her beloved dog, Brandy.
