In Loving Memory of Angela Garrett Duncan:

Angela Garrett Duncan was born on September 4th, 1964. She grew up in the small, mountain town of Hayesville, North Carolina. A trailblazer and beloved matriarch, she peacefully departed this life on April 19, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion, determination, and love.

Angela spent her young adult life as an EMT cardiac technician and firefighter, where she met her husband David.
Her greatest joy came from family. She cherished her role as a wife, mother, and most importantly Gran, finding immense fulfillment in the sweet moments shared with little ones.

Angela will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family, and a multitude of friends and colleagues whose lives she touched with her hard work, care and loyalty.
She is preceded in death by her father Howard (Dobin) Garrett and is survived by her mother Frances Garrett, brother Randy Garrett and sister Tina Ford.
She is also survived by her loving husband of 40 years David Duncan and the beautiful family they created together:
Her son Alex Duncan and granddaughters Arya and Evelyn Duncan; Her daughter and son in law Katie and Jason Lenning and grandsons Colton, Garrett, Hunter, and Jase Lenning; Her youngest daughter and son in law Hayley and Michael Robb with grandchildren Tabitha, Titus and Rosemary Robb.

A celebration of Angela's life will be held on May 4th at McDonald and Son Funeral Home in Cumming, Georgia. A visitation will be held from 1-3pm, with a brief service at 2:45pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society in her honor.

We rest assured knowing she is in eternal peace with her loving Heavenly Father. She made a profound and lasting impact on all who had the privilege of being loved by her.
