Amy Katherine Pajas

Amy Katherine Pajas was called home to Jesus on September 14, 2019 after a short illness. Amy was born in Michigan on August 22, 1971 but moved with her family to Georgia in 1980 and resided in Alpharetta.

She attended Kennesaw State University and was employed by LeasePlan USA as an Account Manager.
Amy loved to read, had a quick mind and a wicked humor.

But most of all she loved her son, Matthew Hunter Pajas. She is survived by her beloved mother, Marian Janet Cook, her loving brother and sister-in-law, Christopher & Paula Cook, nephew Pvt. Chase Cook and niece Lauren Cook. She will be dearly missed by her Aunt & Uncle, David & Pamela Burke and cousins, David & Rachel Burke, Lochlan, Anastasia, & Aurora. She was preceded in death by her dearly loved grandparents Marion & Helen Pajas. She is also survived by her father, Gary (Sheila) Cook.

The family is overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, support, donations, cards, telephone calls, comfort and prayers from her friends, neighbors, LeasePlan co-workers, Centennial High School teachers, staff & students, Charlton's Grill & Tap, Northside-Forsyth Hospital and staff, and McDonald & Son Funeral Home. The family will forever be grateful.

At Amy's request, she was cremated and will have a private family service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Saint Jude's Children Hospital.
