Alex Thomas, beloved father, son, and friend, passed away on October 18, 2026. His life was far too short, but the impact he made on the people around him will last a lifetime.

Alex was born in Jacksonville, Florida, on January 7, 1994. He moved to Georgia in 2011 and spent the rest of his life there. He was a graduate of North Forsyth High School.

Alex is survived and lovingly remembered by the greatest joy of his life, his daughter, Aiden; his parents, Steve and Stacey Thomas; his grandparents, Robert and Mary Dewey and Sara Stevens; his aunt and uncles, Joe and Nawal Dewey and Todd C. Stevens; his cousins; and countless friends.

Alex found his greatest happiness in spending daddy-daughter days with Aiden, taking her to pottery classes, enjoying breakfast dates at Waffle House, and never passing a Dairy Queen without stopping for ice cream and chicken fingers. Alex also enjoyed playing online video games, where he met a group of people who began as strangers but became lifelong friends.

Alex passed far too soon, leaving behind family, friends, and all who loved him deeply. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched. His spirit remains eternal in love and faith.
