Alexander Thomas Grafton

Alexander Thomas Grafton, age 18, passed away November 13, 2021 in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.

Alex is survived by his parents: Renee and Greg Grafton of Cumming, GA brother Nicholas Grafton, sister Isabella Grafton: Uncle Brad Grafton, Aunt Lisa Grafton, cousins Will, Mia, and Sam of Chattanooga, TN: Uncle Winston Schooley, Aunt Anne Schooley, cousins Zach, Hope, and Lilly of Punta Gorda, FL.

Alex loved everything military and, from an early age, he talked about serving his country one day. He attended Riverside Military Academy, Lambert HS, and Gateway Academy. Alex enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in July 2020 and was stationed in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. Alex loved sports and was passionate about playing hockey, lacrosse, soccer, and Ohio State Buckeyes football. He also loved his church home at First Redeemer.

His family will miss him dearly, but we take great comfort that Alex is at home with Jesus in heaven. Semper Fidelis!

A celebration of life will be held on Dec 1, 2021 at 2:00 pm McDonald and Son Funeral Home. His graveside service will be held at a later date at Georgia National Cemetery.
