Ahmet Eris

Ahmet Eris, 70, of Cumming, GA passed away on January 10, 2011. Born in Samson, Turkey he was predeceased by his parents, Fasil and Hanife Eris. Mr. Eris met his wife, Adele in Germany and the two were later married in Atlanta, GA. They lived in Dunwoody before moving to Cumming eleven years ago. He retired from GE to spend more time with family, and gardening. He is survived by his loving wife, Adele Eris of Cumming, GA; son, Larry (Valerie) Pellett of Valencia, CA; daughter, Rebecca (Steve) Godfrey of Smyrna, GA; daughter, Yasmin (Jerry) Hulett of Cumming, GA; sisters Mubetchle and Melek of Turkey; brother, Mustafa of Turkey; and 7 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at McDonald & Son Funeral Home in Cumming, GA with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.
